Japanese reefs

I originally posted this to my del.icio.us links, but then the more I thought about it, the more cool I realized it actually was and that I should probably frontpage the damn thing. I found it via BLDGBLOG, who points out that Japan obviously loves the idea, the U.S. thinks it's kinda keen, but China is not having it. Why? They explain:
