Apart from the 1959 Mummy film, we haven’t posted a lot about the original franchise. So here are the trailers for both the first film starring Karloff, then the franchise that sort of ran off in a different direction, with Lon Chaney Jr. taking over the role of the Wrapped One from the third film onward.

  • i think this is great. it’s good to see mummies on the move cos it’s an under rated monster. i think it would be cool though to have a special silent movie flash movie player where you could click a soundtrack on if the silence felt a bit odd. doesn’t matter what it is, but i definitely propose there should only be one choice
