Well, we put out the call…and some brave individuals stepped up. Anybody who gets up at an open mic is a brave soul. And anybody who does it in front of the whole internet should be applauded. So give a hand (or snap or whatever) to our participants. Rock on and enjoy.

EditorMikeC reads “The Highwayman” and “The Lady of Shallott.” And wears an awesome hat.

Iruka reads “Fairy Song” by Louisa May Alcott.

Scott White reads some Edgar Lee Masters.

And Joe Covenant reads “The Song of the White Knight.”

Huzzah for all. Maybe we’ll do this again next year.

    I realized this morning that what I should have done was do the complete “Old Possum’s Book Of Practical Cats.” Ah well.
