Tonight, we kick off with our #TrackoftheDay, the riotous “Zombie Radio” by Vince Ray & The Boneshakers. You’ve probably seen Ray’s artwork somewhere or another. This is what he does with his spare time, apparently. Nice.
Also nice: another one of Jack Benny’s Halloween specials, this one from 1948. If nothing else, you should listen to this to the massive cigarette ads, which you could more than get away with back in those days of old-time radio.
Last, and in some ways least, we have The Monster of Piedras Blancas! (Which means, I believe, “The Monster of White Stones.”) When people start dying near the lighthouse, things get suspicious. But when an ancient reptile is believed to be the culprit, things just get insane. And by insane, I mean this thing looks like the Scooby-Dum to the Creature From the Black Lagoon‘s Scooby-Doo. Enjoy.
