If you want to talk primary source material for songs with samples, this is one of the motherlodes. Eric B. & Rakim, NWA, Beastie Boys, DJ Shadow, Gang Starr…Who Sampled lists seventy-three songs that sampled this. And it’s easy to see why. It is funky as HELL.
