#TrackoftheDay: “Creature From the Moon”

I just heard this song for the first time today (I have a massive backlog of potential Halloween music to go through) and it is Truly Amazing. And it is truly perplexing, as some reggae/calypso songs turn out to be. Just like with “Zombie Jamboree,” there’s some confusion as to who the hell recorded it. It’s credited to King Horror, but apparently that could be either a singer who also went by Lord Davey or the producer Laurel Aitken who filled in when Davey wasn’t available. So not entirely sure when it was released (or if it was never released until it was included on the boxed set, and not sure who recorded it or where they were originally from. Sigh.
