If there’s anything the following clip from a 1981 episode of BBC’s Tomorrow’s World shows us, it’s that yes, thermoelectric watches are cool… but more than that, it shows that a practical science show hosted by the legendary Kenneth Williams would have been one of the cultural triumphs of human civilization. I would have watched it for fourteen seasons, at least.
