32 Days of Halloween XV, Day 21: Barracuda!

First for tonight, we go to 1948 and the old-time radio show Quiet Please. “The Thing on the Fourble Board” is widely considered to be some of the best radio horror ever…and the performances in this are what sell it, in my opinion. Excellent listening.

Next up, one story (half an episode) from Night Gallery, Rod Serling’s followup to Twilight Zone. This is “The House,” and one fun bit: it’s directed by John Astin. Yes, the original Gomez Addams himself.

Lastly, because you can never have enough from the subgenre of “When Animals Attack,” we have 1977’s Barracuda. Coming two years after the phenomenal success of the original Jaws, you can probably guess how this is going to go. Enjoy.
