32 Days of Halloween IV, Movie Night No. 1: Don’t Look in the Basement

Don't Look in the Basement

It’s the first movie night of 32 Days of Halloween IV: The Final Chapter, and traditionally…we’ve really had no tradition for the first night out. So Rox, who has gleefully been combing through the archives of what’s available online, recommends Don’t Look in the Basement (also known as The Forgotten), from 1973. I love the fact that they thought the tagline from The Last House on the Left was so good (and it was), that they just decided to use it on this film as well. Makes sense, since they apparently went out as a double feature.

Coincidentally, “Don’t look in the basement” is something Rox tells all of the guests who stay at Spazhouse. Hmm.

Previously on Movie Night No. 1: Last year we were checking out Carnival of Souls. Our first film in 2008 was She Demons while in 2007 it was The Killer Shrews!
