Your Weekend Justice #125: James Spader, Acting GristleBy Widge - posted 08.05.11 @ 6:25 am
It's Weekend Justice: the Internet's #1 audio trainwreck. It's the podcast that creates verbs where they are proper nouns just to see if anyone's paying attention. Usually they are, but they couldn't care less. This podcast was engineered--some might say over-engineered--by experts to escort you from the work week in the most chaotic manner possible. Please note: this podcast is profane, definitely oversexed and definitely overwrought. It is wrong and unsafe. You have been warned. ![]() Agenda: Headsup: There's new Weekend Justice gear as well in the Zazzle store. (Recommendations will be updated in a bit. Fear not.) Thanks to Jon from The Unique Geek for helping us sound good. If you want to send something to Weekend Justice--like some ladies' deodorant--address packages to NEEDCOFFEE.COM WEEKEND JUSTICE, 4480-H South Cobb Drive, PMB 394, Smyrna GA USA 30080. But hurry, because you only have until October. As always, special thanks go out to Clutch for letting us use their absolutely badass song, "Promoter (of earthbound causes)" as our theme music for this. Buy Blast Tyrant, which is where you can find "Promoter". Buy their latest album, Strange Cousins from the West. Send them love and coin. BTW, you iTunes subscriber types can nab this feed here. If you like us, why not rate us? We don't bite. Mostly. Or if you want to do something else with it, the feed feed for all our podcasts is here. And just Weekend Justice is here. I would like to submit as a miniscule erratum that Widge identified the lowercase i as symbolic of an irrational number, when it is in fact an imaginary number, though not very imaginary.

2.GS: You are correct. I was being irrational about an imaginary thing.
Which is...pretty much a description of my conduct in all 125 episodes thus far, if you think about...

3.I'm back next week...and I'm taking notes, people!
Comment by Leigh — August 7, 2011 @ 12:15 pm
4.Please god not about the comics discussion. I love you Leigh but I have to fast forward whenever you start talking about comics. Eastwick maybe... :)
Comment by Dan North — August 8, 2011 @ 8:50 pm
5.Dan: Leigh's not even on this episode...? Or is she showing up like an EVP recording or something...
Comment by Widge — August 8, 2011 @ 8:56 pm
6.Um, Dan...I don't usually talk about comics, other than to ask for recs for Kidlet or to ask how close the comic comes to a movie...
Or have I been doing that and don't remember? Because that's just wrong!
But I will talk about Eastwick. Maybe we can do a long episode review together, Dan? :D
Comment by Leigh — August 8, 2011 @ 8:58 pm
7.You don't usually but when you do you usually preface it with something along the lines of "I don't know much about comics but..."
Comment by Dan North — August 9, 2011 @ 5:29 am
8.Dan, Leigh--I think you're both missing the point.
The point is...how can Leigh be discussing comics *when she's not in this episode*?
And Leigh: you weren't. I was there. I know. So don't even try to mess with my head, chica.

9.I know but she said she's "taking notes" which I took to mean in her dramatic return she would address topics from episodes she had missed. Which by the way sounds awesome.
Comment by Dan North — August 9, 2011 @ 5:40 am
10.Even when she's not gone, she always comes back with a vengeance.
Comment by Widge — August 9, 2011 @ 6:03 am
11.Like constipation... but in a good way!
