32 Days of Halloween XII, Day 13: The Leopard Man!

The Leopard Man

We begin tonight with one of our favorite bands: Clutch. This song, “The Devil & Me,” is from their 2007 album, Beale Street to Oblivion. It’s always a shame when a long-standing partnership comes to an end. Especially if one is an infernal beast from the pit.

File this under “People Who Can Make Anything Sound Awesome.” It’s Sir John Gielgud, and what’s he reading is already awesome, since it’s “The Jabberwocky” by Lewis Carroll. This seems like a live reading, but I’m not sure when or where it was recorded.

And lastly, we come to our feature presentation: the 1943 film The Leopard Man. When you bring out a leopard for a publicity stunt and the leopard gets away, you might well be concerned when bodies start appearing. Not out of nowhere, I mean, just looking like they’ve been killed by a leopard. But…were they?
