The person at VideoSift who posted this calls it Chuck Jones’ best cartoon, and it’s sort of hard to argue. Once you get into the best of Chuck Jones, it’s hard to put them into any sense of order. I just love his stuff. And is there anyone who doesn’t remember poor Marc Antony’s wailing and gnashing of teeth from this? Just priceless.

I’m not sure if I can name a favorite of my grandfather’s cartoons, it’s truly hard to decide, however I know that I can watch this one a thousand times and still laugh out loud, tear up at moments, and savor the expressions as they emerge every single time. Thank you for the memory… Craig
