CNN has posted their usual week’s worth of space photos…and they’re more awesome than normal. You’ve got a color-enhanced image of Mercury, a bigass dust storm on the surface of Mars, and the Sun through an ultraviolet imaging telescope (which looks like the planet Oa).
Pictured is Mimas, a moon of Saturn, where “aside from one crater, everything on the moon is named after people and places in the legend of King Arthur or the Greek legends of the Titans.” Interestingly, the crater in question–the one that’s not Arthurian–is named “Phil.” True story.
