Today has normally been reserved for Mr. Karloff. In 2008, we had a plethora of Boris bits, including his rendition of “Monster Mash” (remember, it wasn’t him doing the original). Last year we had the excellent episode of This is Your Life that featured him (which if you haven’t caught, you should go back and check that out–it’s fantastic).
So this year when we were poking around for stuff, we resurfaced this gem: Karloff narrating Peter and the Wolf with the Vienna State Opera Orchestra. Here’s the first part of it–and the good news is the whole damn thing’s available for MP3 download from Amazon for just $7. And CD for just $7, too.
