Making Hard Candy the Old-Fashioned Way

I really appreciate people who keep the old traditions of how you make stuff alive. Mostly because I don’t have the patience for that stuff, but I admire anyone who does. I also really appreciate candy. And when you combine those two appreciations, you get me posting this video of how Lofty Pursuits, a candy shoppe out of Tallahassee, Florida, makes holiday hard candy.

Also, there are certain points in the video where it looks like a behind the scenes FX test from The Blob. Either version, really.
