32 Days of Halloween IV, Day 28: A Raggedy Halloween

It only takes the opening shot of Raggedy Ann and Andy in The Pumpkin Who Couldn’t Smile to realize (or remember) you’re dealing with a Chuck Jones cartoon here. June Foray is the voice of Ann while Daws Butler is the voice of Andy and they have to try and change a family’s attitude about Halloween while having to deal with a very sad pumpkin.

Of course, these days the pumpkin patch owners would have medicated the pumpkin. But this was 1979, a “less englightened” time.

Speaking of less enlightened, this apparently has never seen a DVD release, from what I can tell.
