Your Weekend Justice #145: Will Somebody Save Somebody?

It’s Weekend Justice: the Internet’s #1 audio trainwreck. It’s the podcast that can go to a Dark Place at the drop of a hat. And not every listener will make it back alive. This is both warning…and promise. This podcast was engineered–some might say over-engineered–by experts to escort you from the work week in the most chaotic manner possible. Please note: this podcast is profane, definitely oversexed and definitely overwrought. It is wrong and unsafe. You have been warned.

Martha Stewart Coming Home Poncho

Please note–an extra warning for this episode, in which terrible, sick jokes are made about children and taxidermy. In light of this, I would like to issue the following apology in advance:

In my rush to make a joke, I incorrectly identified Boris Karloff’s last film as 1968’s Targets, when as you, of course, well know–it was instead 1971’s The Incredible Invasion, released after his death. My apologies for any confusion or distress this slip-up may cause.

As always, special thanks go out to Clutch for letting us use their absolutely badass song, “Promoter (of earthbound causes)” as our theme music for this.

Buy Blast Tyrant, which is where you can find “Promoter”. Buy their latest album, Strange Cousins from the West. Send them love and coin.

    • Hey Widge – actually a Studio Ghibli film has indeed won Best Animated at the Oscars. Spirited Away won. Princess Mononoke was released before there was a Best Animated Feature award, which was why it was up for Best Foreign Language Film. Not that I’m a Studio Ghibli junkie or anything.

    • Carol: Good catch! Yes…and I didn’t even like Spirited Away that much. I know, I know, I’m a heathen and will burn in hell.

    • I think Brannagh gets nominations not necessarily because he’s good but because he’s in practically every possible effing vehicle he can find to slap his name on. Tarantino should take notes from this masterclassman.

    • Karl: The fact that I want to simply click Like on your comment leads me to believe I should indeed start using the Facebook commenting tie-in.
