To start with tonight, here’s a stop motion Lego short entitled “The Heritage.” Two things about this speak to me. First, it’s stop motion. I can’t even imagine having the sort of patience it would take to pull this off. Second…I know he’s supposed to be carrying around some kind of lantern but my brain kept telling me it was a seltzer bottle.
Straight from MGM…here’s a compilation of Addams Family: Uncle Fester’s greatest hits, essentially. My favorite Fester Fact: he was played in the original series by Jackie Coogan, who originally found fame in his first credited role…opposite Charlie Chaplin in The Kid.
And for tonight…oooh, it’s classic. The original Invasion of the Body Snatchers. The 1978 version is another classic along different lines. But…yeah, it’s been tried since then nobody else has come close to those two. Enjoy.
