32 Days of Halloween XVI, Day 28

Casual Geographic
The Witch Who Was Afraid of Witches
Alien Dead

A bit of cover art from a VHS release of the film ALIEN DEAD. There is a partial figure in the background, the figure and the background are all a sort of blue and gray. A woman is in the foreground from the neck up and she's so yellow she looks like the personification of jaundice.

To prepare you for tonight’s feature, let’s start with its trailer. See if you can guess what the title of the film is.

Casual Geographic returns with another Halloween-themed video. One that’s rather unsettling, so if the idea of seeing animals who are sick is upsetting to you, give it a pass. It’s about animal diseases that seem straight out of a horror movie. The worst stuff is pixelated for your protection but still. There is a lot of footage of animals definitely not at their best. I’m including it because there’s good information in it, but if you think you might need to skip this one, then go ahead and skip it. You’ve been warned.

So…if you watched that and you need something to cleanse your mind, here’s a nice animated short, The Witch Who Was Afraid of Witches. From 1979, it features the voices of Kathryn Walker (Neighbors) and Diane Salinger (Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure).

We can delay it no longer. It is time to watch…Alien Dead. And playing the sheriff…yes, that’s Buster Crabbe.
