Curse of the Crying Woman (1963)

Tonight we have the 1963 Mexican horror flick, The Curse of the Crying Woman. It deals with La Llorana ghost story/legend. The Wikipedia (which is always right) page on the legend does a good job of giving a brief summary of the various versions of the story, plus showing its place in the…um, I guess worldwide weeping ghostly woman mythos? And it also touches on the many film versions there have been, including the most recent one as part of the Conjuring Universe (Conjurverse?).

We’re concerned instead with just this one version, which has two things I find quite impressive. One: creepy as hell eye makeup FX. Two: dig those gigantic dogs, man.
